In 1996, Mario Piraino, a Structural Engineer, opened Beds for Backs, an innovative bedding company focused on sleep science and supporting the human body correctly using proven Engineering principles; this has led to bed designs much superior in support, therefore improved rest, health and wellbeing. Today, though our bed systems, bedding knowledge and research has expanded, we remain committed to delivering expert bedding advice to ensure our customers get a healthy night’s rest. Beds for Backs have a team of knowledgeable Sales Consultants and a group of health professionals. who understand the advanced design features of our beds and can recommend how to use them to obtain maximum health benefits. We like to spend time with our customers to get to know their sleeping habits so they can find a bed solution for improved health. Our Sales Consultants are continuously educated on the latest sleep research to ensure you can choose a bed to sleep right the first time. We have completed studies for sleep problems such excessive heat in beds, high pressure on shoulders and hips, neck alignment, snoring and posture, enabling us to manufacture beds and bases to overcome these problems. Managing Director and Research Analyst Mario Piraino strives to inform customers on ‘the truth about beds’ from the very beginning. He is in continuous dialogue with university lecturers and research scientists. With a degree in Structural Engineering and personal experience of severe back pain and arthritis, Mario knows healthy sleep can only be obtained from the correct bed. For our bodies to remain healthy, we need a balanced diet, exercise and above all restful, rejuvenating sleep.
